After the success of our travelling, fully operative HO rail vacuum cleaner we complete the cleaning technique with our HO railcar for overhead contact line and rail grinding. These two vehicles complement each other in their made of operation.

The main item of the HO railcar for overhead contact line and rail grinding is the high-speed driven, radially working grinding and polishing technique with Faulhaber engine.

The polishing rounds consisting of plastic bound fibrous web are thus fixed in their position inside the driving block through a regulating screw up to the pomt where a grinding and polishing effect on the respective profile (rail-mid conducfor-contact wire) appears. The fibrous polishing material only leads to a slight static friction.

When the drawing of current through the wheels is deficient (dirty rails) the grinding technique is buffered through an integrated accumulafor.

The accumulators are charged through the contact line. When the driving block is turned so that the grinding rounds pomt upward, the vehicle is ideal for deaning the contact wire. A flat coil ensures the adjustable pressure acting against the contact wire.
